Banleng Ponglang 3 (Four's 227)

Busy days here at BG hq so just some brief words for this wonderful Thai cassette...what you have are two side length hypnotic instrumental jams. The track that makes up the B side locks into a fantastic groove with atomic clock-like precision. Subtle nuances abound.

Update...
More info in comments...thanks Peter!!!

what a great tape, thanks for sharing!
in case you're interested, the performers here are อ. หนุ่ม ภูไท + คณะหนุ่มมะพร้าวห้าว (a. num phuthai & khana num maphrao hao)... a. num phuthai is the phin maestro (i've got another tape of his up here) and his band is the "ripe coconut boys"! the featured instrument here is the ponglang xylophone (more of that as well in this post), and the album title is บรรเลงโปงลาง 3 (banleng ponglang 3)

@peter, thank you for the info and links! i realized i was off in my description with the phin hai...it's not the pitched drum sounds on the bside but the bass instrument on the 1st track, behind the ponglang, no?
anyways, i've edited the original post down so as not to confuse things...

@icastico, you're welcome! thanks for checking the music.
